Class struggle is the engine that drives social change. The answer to everything in marx is class exploitation. The structure of society arises from economic production: this takes place in epochs, different stages of society. All thought determined by place in historical process. The very last stage is when the final truth is worked out, the absolute, history comes to an end. It is only at the end that this whole sequence makes sense and that is how. Marx says the dialectic is about economics not thought: class conflict that leads to change and new, the absolute is when capitalism blows itself up and communism takes place, capitalism must destroy itself, internal contradictions are too strong. Political structure: decreasing power - king, lord, vassals, serfs (mirrors economic structure agricultural) Capitalism overthrows feudalism starts when we round the cape and discover. America because the size of the market grows, more people to purchase goods.
