Security system based on the threat of person in correctional institutions and everybody inside them. Usually there is a telephone pole design for the setup of the prison. Inmates spend most of the day inside of their cells until they can prove the are not a threat and start to earn more time. This will lead to reduction in security level for that person: medium security. There are usually more programs for people, ie work programs. Usually there is a podular design for the prison. There are more visits and inmates are given more opportunity for phone calls: minimum custody prisons. There could still be a life in prison person. Min custody doesn"t mean light offender; they have just proven themselves that they don"t deserve strict custody. People can move up and down between security levels. Sometimes they can even be allowed to have time off the prison grounds.
