Lack of belief- theory is in order to lie not only do you have to make a statement but you can"t believe what you are saying yourself. Often this is described as being false little more complicated because just because i believe something doesn"t make it true. Addressee could be a single person could be all of humanity. If professor came to an empty classroom proclaiming things he didn"t believe, he wouldn"t be lying he"d be talking to an empty room. Intent to deceive- intent to someone believe something you don"t. I"m treating you with more respect if i give you the bad truth instead of the good lie so you can make your own decision. Commission- one you tell by simply saying something.
