Document Summary

Notes: a computer program is a sequence of instruction and decisions, programming can be define by the act of designing and implementing computer program. Anatomy of a computer: the heart of the computer is cpu i. e. central processing unit. Cpu is very complicated, for example the intel core processor is composed of several hundred million structure elements , called transistors. Work of cpu is to perform program control and data processing. There are two types of memory: primary memory and secondary memory. Primary memory: made by memory chip which is electronical circuited that can store data , provided they are supplied with the electric powers. Secondary memory: it"s usually a hard disk, which provides slower and less expensive storage which persists without electricity. The computer stores program and data and they are located into secondary memory which is then loaded into primary memory when the program starts.
