S-shaped bone that articulates with manubrium at sternal end and with the acromion process of the scapula. Anterior, articulates with manubrium to form sternoclavicular joint: scapula. Posterior, articulates with clavicle to form acromioclavicular joint and and articulates with the humerus to form the glenohumeral joint. Scapular spine divides scapula into the supraspinous fossa and the infraspinous fossa. Upper limb: each upper limb has 30 bones.
