7 views2 pages

Document Summary

Structuration allows you to focus on the ways members of an organization recursively recreate social structures. At the same time, it"s sensitive to the interconnections of an organization and environment that are created by the organization and members of that organization. These concepts of social integration and duality of relationships of agents to institution back to agents, recognize the organizations construction, it members, and publics through interacting with society. A pr structurationist perspective overcomes limitations that come from the general systems theory by exploring natures of interactions in systems and interfaces on an environment. Also, structuration overcomes the boundaries of times in general systems theory because it takes into account the internal/external development of the trends and options that occurred over time to create and encourage future long-term planning. Structuration encourages the view of the public as it has been created and recreated through experiences that have been shared, thus enabling the understanding that things change as time goes on.
