Mutual control: the degree to which parties agree on who has the rightful power to influence one another. Trust: a party"s level of confidence in and willingness to be open to the other party. Satisfaction: the extent to which each party feels favorable toward the other because positive expectations about the relationship are reinforced. Exchange relationships: the sense that one party gives benefits to the other only because the other has provided benefits in past or expectations to in the future. Communal relationships: the willingness of each party to rally together. Management based communication activity designed to create, change, or reinforce attitude, knowledge, or behavior. An inventory of publics should be developed and reviewed periodically. Can be beneficial to start with general categories, then identify with greater specificity. Mutual benefits through relationships, openness, credibility, reciprocity, feedback.
