Once you want to find the thing to delete, select it and click delete button. Solidworks lets you insert an image file into a sketch that you can use as an underlay as you create sketch geometry. Tools >> sketch tools >> sketch picture. Once the image is imported, the left corner will be located on the origin. Can adjust the location using the feature manager.
