All 3 contain the same basic provisions and each provision spells out an issue: acquistion of rights: acquires rights from the songwriter, gives their rights under copyright law to the publisher (d-d-d-d-r-p) ); not an ssa: license rights are granted: the 6 streams print, performance, sync, grand, mechanicals, and foreign, exclusivity: all songs written within the term of k belong to the publisher e(cid:454)(cid:272)lusi(cid:448)el(cid:455). Checks from the publisher to the songwriter (monthly usually) (semi-annual or annual basis) $ for food or rent (like a loan) Risk/reward: if no royalties earned, the publisher is sol: minimum delivery requirement: the k stipulates the # of songs the songwriter will write during the original term (and each option). 10-15 songs in the usual amount: pipeline income: lists recorded songs that are already earning royalties.
