Not too interested in the non-native folks. Know the names of the native american fossil hunters who guided the other folks to the fossil beds, etc. Don"t concentrate too much on exact years; just a few like 1492!! Some others; but have a general idea of time for articles, lectures, etc. Don"t really care too much if you know the various eras of the dinos. , etc. either but that you have some idea of the millions of years that have gone by, and things like that. Always keep a sharp eye for american indians/native americans and what the reading is telling you about them. Try to recall tribal names; but don"t get too bogged down in that.
