Used to find the mass of anything in space. First person to realize that gravity acts the same way in the entire universe. Didn"t publish his findings until he was in his 40s (discovered in his 20s) *speed of light is constant --> goes against newton"s laws. Proved that comets also revolved around the sun. People still use newton"s laws because they make calculations simple. Found that theory of relativity replaces newton"s laws.
