Document Summary

Proteins play a crucial role in human being"s body which are made from amino acids. Amino acids can be inside the proteins if they are not dissolved in the solvent, or they can be outside of the protein as they dissolve in the solvent. The overall goal of this experiment is to determine how the amino acids react differently resulting folded and unfolded proteins in different environments. The changes of color, forming of precipitate, and fluorescence indicate that the proteins were folded or unfolded [1] . It is important to study these effects as they will help to figure out how to disturb the protein structures. Changing the protein structures from folded to unfolded helps to adjust the chemical characteristics of proteins which will be applied to biological or medical purposes. When 0. 1 ml of 9m urea was added to the solution making a final 6 ml solution, concentration of urea in the solution =
