Beliefs: corn mother myth live in harmony with nature sustainable. Developed: long evolution, cultural evolution over thousands of years. Goal: sustainable relationship with nature, living symbiotically, long-term sustainability, biodiversity. Beliefs: instrumentalist approach, resources to be used for profit, resource extraction. Developed: supposedly scientific, developed quickly (one generation), not tried and tested over time.
