To be approved for marketing and use in american medicine, one must pass criteria imposed by the fda of double blind placebo control medical trial, where the drug is shown to be more e ective than a placebo. The criteria published by the pharmaceutical industry to demonstrate clinical e ectiveness may only be part of the data. Clinical trials that show know or negative e ect is submitted to the fda but not published + used as part of the evaluation criteria. Anti-depressant medication e ectiveness can largely be attributed to the placebo e ect. It"s not that easy because it all depends on our whole system of belief. It requires a worldview shift, a deep paradigm shift, how we construct meaning. An organ made of electrically active muscle that"s responsible for pumping blood around the body. Pumping takes a lot of energy, so there are a lot of blood vessels that feed the muscles (coronary vasculature, arteries)
