Food insecurity - is a household-level condition of limited or uncertain access to a sufficient amount of affordable, nutritious food. What are the pillars of food security: availability, access, utilization, stability. Availability: the availability of sufficient quantities of food of appropriate quality and diversity, grocery. Access: access by individuals to adequate resources for acquiring appropriate foods for a nutritious diet, resources, money. Utilization: people have the knowledge and infrastructure to choose, prepare, distribute foods in a way that results in good nutrition, knowledge.
