Constitution divides power between central govt. and lower level governments!

-Dual Federalism:
-Powers split between national and state govt.!
-*10th amendment = anything not explicitly delegated to the states or prohibited
to them is they're choice (implied powers)!
National Government Powers!
-Expressed Powers!

-Supreme Law!
Anything passed at the national level (that is within their expressed powers)
will trump state rulings!

-Reserved powers !
Police powers (regulation of its citizens health, safety, and morals of its
