Shade tolerant trees such as, red and white oak trees, white ash trees and red maple trees will dominate the forest in the future. The advantage of this type of seed packaging might be that when the birds eat the fruits, the seeds do not get digested and they get out of their body afterwards in somewhere else unchanged.
