In this novel, the author mentions other civil rights movements, such as the african-american led movement, and compares them to the chicano one. The author argues that chicanos had it the worst media-wise since they were never covered. I could see how alienation could be worse than any type of coverage, but i disagree with the fact that chicanos had it the worst at that point in time.
