The uterus is like two horns, and the fetuses plant themselves along the horn (up to 20 offspring) All fetus have their own placenta, so they are all brother and sisters but not twins. Mother could have mated with more than one mate. Testosterone is lipid soluble and can cross the placenta, and can reach the offspring.
