Deposition on the inside turn: streams and rivers are continuously shifting their pathway. High on the profile headward erosion: all youthful streams. The erosion of the colorado plateau: youthful streams: steep walls, v-shaped streams, erosion > deposition. Youthful streams high on the profile - waterfalls and rapids. The beginning of a mature stream: meanders and a flood plain, an emerging flood plain, sierra nevada mountains.
