Is existence even a perfection or is it different from goodness, power, etc. People resort to deceipt because they need something. God by definition is/has all things perfect, no need to deceive. God exists, for the idea of god can only come from god. I can trust my senses and thinking (at least most of the time) Everything has a nature or essence i can grasp with my mind (ex: triangle) Potential worry: maybe god"s existence and essence are separable. Another argument for god"s existence: god has all the perfections a being could have, existence is also a perfection. Because god exists and is good, i can trust whatever i clearly and distinctly grasp. D has a clear and distinct grasp of god. We are not radically deceived because god exists. Our intellect is finite but our will is infinite.
