Predicts: more empathy/social competence in preschool, more interpersonal success. Behavior control having clear rules/expectations for behavior. Psychological control essentially guilt-ing you"re a child into behaving. Let your kids know you love them. Use induction to teach as you discipline. Understand your child"s age-related cognitive abilities and limitations. Don"t expect perfection and go with the flow.
