Latent content: underlying meaning of symbols in a dream. Secondary elaborations: when u are recounting a dream and provide order and a coherent narrative to a dream. Pleasure principle(eros): seeking pleasure and avoiding pain in order to satisfy biological+psychological needs (this is the driving force that guides the id).
