Priest wonders why helen would want to meet with matthew: warns her that wearing the habit might help her stay safe within the prison. Helen comes from money but lives in the slums (where she works) Common ground is matt and helen both live with the poor: says they were both high / no sleep. Victims: hope percy & walter delacroix: shot close range in back of heads. Helen gets matt a lawyer: wants to get matt off of death row first, must be seen as a human, wants matt"s mom there.
