Social cogneuro: explores neural processes that support social behavior. After all, we are embedded in social interactions that shape our brains throughout lifetime. (even if we are hermits) Various relevant substrates (like mdeial partietal cortex and pcc) How social situations (real or imagined) influence our thoughts, actions, decision making. Life is series of encounters with people. From these, we learn about ourselves and other people (or fail to) Lke charlie brown and football that lucy takes. Not everyone is 100% predictable that you should bet your life on their behavior. Procedure of evaluating own and someone else"s behavior. Big difference in the way that social cogneuro is studied most of the time and how it should be studied. Socneuro is pretty artifical (for now, at least) Spectator image approach (with passive spectator) vs. interaction imagine approach (engaged interactor) Allow change in subjects response to influence someone in neighborhood.
