Document Summary

He"s conditional to god"s existence: he either exist and doesn"t care if we believe or not or does not exist. Hypothetical case: there is this island community and all the inhabitants believe this is the whole world. Elders talk about these myths that way back in the day this island use to be part of a bigger empire. Another myth was back then was ruled by a big emperor. They say that this empire is true and rules over all of his subjects. The emperor wants them to declare their allegiance to him. He is the hidden emperor but we believe that he does exist and that he has special powers. There is a man (skeptic) that skeptic because the emperor is hidden and he hasn"t revealed himself. There is a third person (tentative believer) who finds some middle ground between the believer and the skeptic.
