Document Summary

Every event must have caused event a to cause event b and so on and so forth; Is it true that everything must have a cause? (perhaps not!) Perhaps not: everything must have a cause, god has no cause. It is not the fact that the watch has a function that indicates that it has a maker. The real reason that we know the watch has a maker is because we ourselves make them. Anything with a function needs a maker. The function seen in natural things (ex. The eye) can be explained by a different and more supported hypothesis: darwinian biology/evolution. To establish the existence of such things, evidence is required that is obtained under controlled conditions and that can be confirmed by independent inquirer. Problem of evil: the basic idea is that if god exist, then in that case there would be no evil in the world.
