Forensic science is known as the science if associating things, people, and places. Survey of forensic science hat are suspected of being involved in crimes. A chinese textbook also covered important forensic information in 1247 ad, the information in this book still has commonly accepted beliefs that we follow nowadays despite being written 100s of years ago. The story of marie lefarge is still taught to forensic students as it shows how poisons can be tested for in deceased individuals. The poisoning of her husband was investigated to see if she was the one responsible for his death by arsenic. The chemist mathieu orfila was vital to this case as he became known as the father of toxicology and introduced its importance to forensics. In 1836 the development of the marsh test being used to test arsenic levels in the tissues of humans and animals became significant for proving marie lafarge"s guilt in the murder of her husband.
