Positive growth towards the source, ex: vines on a house. Negative growth away from the source (wind swept trees: chemotropism growth in response to chemical concentrations. Positive growth towards high chemical concentration. Negative growth away from high chemical concentration. Compare and contrast the three different classes of photoreceptors: photo morphogenesis - photons with specific energy levels activate specific photoreceptors in the plant. There are 3 types of photoreceptors: phytochrome . Apoprotein + 2 chromophores: apoprotein + chromophore = haloprotein.
