Psychodynamic theory of gender development: according to this theory, early relationships are primary basis of sense of identity. Friday, august 26, 2016: usually the most important relationship is with the primary caregiver- in many cases, the mother, this theory implies that the way a mother treats each child in uences the child"s gender identity.
