Therapy: help client find meaning & authenticity, take responsibility. Mindfulness (non-judgmental awareness): awareness to breath, senses, savoring. 3 scientifically manageable components of happiness of ppt: pleasure, engagement, meaning, relationships, achievement. Originally developed to treat complex disorders (e. g. borderline) High emotional sensitivity & invalidating environment; emotional dysregulation. Idea: people with serious emotion-regulation difficulties can learn healthier ways of reacting.
