Increased advocates for school choice and voucher schools (government gives you a voucher to enroll in private/charter schools) Often split into three stages (elementary, middle, and high school) We might see increases in public school enrollment because of immigration. Projected decrease in white people enrolled in public schools. Less than 50% of public school population will be white. Projected increase in hispanic and asian populations enrollment in public schools. Over time, increase in interracial relationships/children & change in noting race (increase in asking who is interracial) projected increase in interracial children in public schools. Varied organizational structure: k-12, standard elementary/middle/high school, anything in-between. Less than 10% of school-aged children attend private schools.
