Most of weight is directly related to how much you eat. Some can be changed by energy expenditure. Stretching stomach will make you feel full. Not done anymore because staples can accidentally pull out. Swallow balloon, blow it up, lose weight. Lots of calories for amount of volume you eat. Once balloon is removed, weight increases again. Use stapling procedure but also remove part of stomach, suture it, seal it up, leave you with small part of intestine. Sleeve holds 1/10th of what stomach could hold before. Variations of gastric banding are more intense surgical procedures. Sleeve around the stomach so reduces food intake. Stretch receptors will make you feel full. Push food through upper part of stomach to immediately feel full. Sew parts of stomach and intestines back together. Y shape of intestine connected to other part of intestine. Gallstones are more likely to form when weight is lost rapidly.
