People trust you more if you blush. By blushing communicating that you are the sort of person that knows norms and knows you violated it. Can detect without even visually noticing it (darker skinned: unconscious bias is real people) The stronger the shocks that guilty participants administered to themselves, the more their feelings of guilt were alleviated. Start at 30 volts, increase by 10 every trial. Guilty=more likely to increase went up to 70 by the end of trial 6. Sadness & neutral=less likely to increase, went up 50 by end.
