Speciation: different concepts used to describe the separation of two populations during the day and one goes out in the night so never cross paths sufficient to create two different species. Species are groups of interbreeding or potentially interbreeding natural. Pros: populations that are reproductively isolated from other such groups. All species have a finite range of phenotypic variation. A single lineage of ancestor descendant populations which maintains its identity from other such lineages and which has its own evolutionary tendencies and historical fate.
