(as well as other parts of the brain. ) Alcohol abuse in pre-teen years can cause permanent problems. Broca"s area language production in the prefrontal cortex. They can make sound but not necessarily put tem together to create words. If you suffer brain damage there you can become deaf. They can speak but what they say makes no sense. The more sensitive a place is the bigger chunk of brain is devoted to it. Can loose your vision if you receive damage to this part, even though your eyes are perfectly ok. Brain damage to this side tends to suffer really negative emotions. Right: non-verbal, imagery, special tasks, recognize faces, detect emotion. Brain damage, there doesn"t suffer as negative as the right side.
