Learning: a relatively permanent change in knowledge or behavior that results from experience. Not only classroom learning but experiences as well. The tendency to become familiar with a stimulus merely as a result of repeated exposure. You become familiar with the stimuli, simply due to repeated exposure. Ex. you are reading your textbook, and all of a sudden your sink starts dripping, over time you get used to it, and stop noticing it = habituation. A type of learning in which an organism comes to associate one stimulus with. We learn the association between two different stimuli. Begun to notice that dogs salivate before food was placed in their mouths. When they saw the people who would give it to them or hear their stems. Tried to make the dog salivate to something else. When a cs is presented with the us enough times, it will make the dog only salivate to the cs = cr.
