Preconventional level moral dilemmas are resolved in ways that satisfy self- serving motives. An act is moral if it enables you to get a reward, or avoid punishment. A kid will say i will steal the drug because i will be sad if my wife dies, or i won"t do it because i don"t want to be punished.
