Interactional theorists: have individuals of different groups work together to develop and appreciations for diverse cultures, etc. Must be individuals of the same status/level of power. We learn our attitudes we learn prejudice and discrimination. Prejudice an attitude: positive or negative toward people because of their group membership. Discrimination an action or behavior: positive or negative, toward people because of their group membership. Prejudice and discrimination may be committed at the same time.
