Know the eukaryotic and prokaryotic cell structure. Number of chromosomes has nothing to do with the complexity of the organism. Chromosomes are found within the nucleus of the cell. Different parts of a person or body is a little different within each. If we unwind a chromosome we find our gentic composition within each dna structure. Dna nucleotides contain one of four possibles bases. Replication is a process which replicates the same type of dna. There is a counterpart which allows it to check for errors. Essential for repairs and reproduction of new somatic cells and gametes as well as meiosis. Cell cannot function properly without the correct amount of. Depend on the amino acid (and hence the protein) for which the sequence codes. Mutations will then be encoded in the dna blueprint and be passed on during future replications. The interaction of gametes determines the gender of the organism.
