Challenges us to view society as an outsider would view it therefore avoiding personal bias. Psychology is the study of individual people whereas sociology focuses on groups and their trend. Approach it with two different vantage points: why human beings are the way they are. Sociology & common sense: we believe what is true due to common sense notions even though sometimes it s false. An example is the common sense notion that the earth is flat. Connection between the two: inversely correlated with one another. Integration - degree they are tied to society to social group.
