Dance music and storytelling are among the most ancient art forms. Music is everything and rhythms everywhere you go in africa. Music is part of everything, in your everyday life. The creation of practice in dance is a collective responsibility in the community. Everyone in the tribe contributes and is part of the music making. Djembe- everyone gather together in peace (bambara people of mali) When the beats of drums die down, usually the dancing also ceases . Rhythm remains the central core to any expression of african culture.
