The creation of practice in dance is a collective responsibility in the community. Everyone in the tribe contributes and is part of the music making. Djembe- everyone gather together in peace (bambara people of mali) When the beats of drums die down, usually the dancing also ceases . Rhythm remains the central core to any expression of african culture.
