Trump's Road to the White House film
After watching Trump's Road to the White House film, I was amazed of how all his own
characteristics were to be found in a positive way to his presidency. Most of his characteristics
were not the characteristic we admire but this film has romanticized Trump way of running for
his election and winning on his own way. To start off the point of this film was to congratulate
Trump of his own actions made to win the election and to look up to him. Nobody believed
Trump had the capability to win the election because of the person he is and has been portrait by
everyone. Trump was seen as a fighter, because he fought for what he wanted and believed was
right to himself which caused a very proactive campaign. Trump campaign went into election
thinking they were going to lose because of all the win Clinton was taking and he was losing.
State after state Trump was losing because he was behind, which made the begging of the
election look like Trump had no chance for the election.
However, everything turned around when it got to the count down for Florida, because he
won 29 electoral votes which was just the beginning. The wining just continued to win
Wisconsin and other states which lead to a surprise to people to see the election coming out on
the winning for Trump. Finally, when Trump won he did feel the overwhelming he felt of being
in the presidency, but he was horned to be in the position the people gave to him.
Sean Spicer, Trumps Press Secretary said “You’ll never see anybody like this again, somebody
that defied every political rule that existed” which encourage Trumps behaviors toward the win
of the election. His own fellow supporters loved his action and characteristic because they
believed that he was being real to him and would be stronger. Over seventeen months Trump had
broken almost every rule of America Politics. People questioned just the way Trump won the
election would he run his own presidency, however people voted for Trump knowing who he
was and how he acted therefore they knew what they were getting themselves into.
Trumps Campaign was small and leaned which was run by him and how he wanted
things to go. He had his family to run his campaign with him and support and help him every
way along that made him get close to winning the election. With his small campaign, everyone
doubted him because of the things he would say during interviews. His Secretary believed that he
should make a public apology to the audience, but he refused because he said he knew what the
people wanted and wanted to hear. During his interviews and debates he was being repellent and
authentic all at once and loved being hast because he would fight back and show his true colors.
He would fight back for the people because he believes that he is the only one wo can fix the
problems of this country. His confidence for him believing in himself came from the people that
were in rallies and his own supporters because he fed himself from the crowd and the crowd
would be fed from his confidence and words that they want to hear. Trump was very angry and
unfiltered on his own speeches and ways to talk because he was just being him and wanted to go
with his instance because people were going to like him by being himself and being true.
Finally, Clintons campaign had to accept he was going to be taken seriously because of
his winning he was taking throughout the time as it was getting closer to the election, therefore
they had to go after him. They exposed how he would talk about women and became the top hit
in the media, however he stayed truth to himself and did not denied, but said he wasn’t a perfect
person. Trump decided to attack Clinton himself by exposing her with her thousands of emails
that were deleted which put her in a position that never before everything on the media day by
day exposed her in the wrong ways we can all think about. Throughout the film they made
Trump be the hero as if he did good of his own action because he won the election and had to do
