Touching their feet; they flare their toes. Gripping hands and feet around people"s fingers. Soft/fluffy mattresses/ pillows (a firm mattress is recommended) A baby"s social smile appears 4-5 months. The infant smiles at people"s faces to recognize them. They begin to feel attachment towards their mother/caretakers by 8-12 months. They get involved in proximity seeking, secure base behavior.
