Chimps make tools, chimps do hunt, but varies from place to place. Not important, argument about language rather than actual behavior use twigs as picks in some regions. Ecological reasons? some areas: corporative, sharing vs. each monkey for his own, private. Leaf grooming: chimps groom leaf, then groom selves. Gambe: male likes female, will grab and shake something for attention. Mahale: take branch, tear leaves o to get attention from females. Ecologically similar places still have big varying behaviors, not the only factor. Cortisol in baboons: (stress thing), higher ranking baboons have more cortisol, lower ranking baboons have less cortisol. Chimps eat weird things for their diet eat leaves, and swallow instead of just eating. ^they"re docing theirselves with plants when sick anti viral, anti fungal plants like aspilia, curing their sicknesses. Jane goodall: used bananas to get monkeys to come. Large troops of baboons would come sometimes, replaced some of the chimps.
