The men involved are associated with the city rather than the studio. They gathered and performed together and engaging at the same time, no one could make sense of what was happening. Was not an artist but rather someone who engages in art theory. Part lyrical genius, part organ player: he is a writer as well as one who calls for trouble/change. He was very self assured and pompous: impossible to be with. He was a singular creature in that he provoked a response. We as italians need to join modernity as france have. He wants to forget the past and move to where we should be. Doesn"t present himself in the studio but out there in the world. His studio was in paris so he was aware of what was happening in paris. His work is in the manner of cubism.
