Athens is allowed to keep their democracy but thebes is viciously punished. Phillip established a pro-macedonia oligarchy in place of their government. Sparta meanwhile was not involved in this conflict and thus were not punished. Instead, he decides to contain sparta by controlling the surrounding cities. Sparta remains neutral but abstains from the corinthian league. Phillip gives greece freedom but bans all places from changing their government after the peace agreement is finalized. Chryselephantine is golden ivory and it is the material used to make the statue of zeus. Phillip builds a statue of himself using the same material because he wants to be seen as zeus on earth. Controversially, the project was finished by alexander so it is unclear if phillip or alexander was making this statement (it is likely phillip). Phillip had seven wives but only three known children. Phillip hated olympias but regardless, their son alexander was clearly going to be phillip"s successor.
