New regulations soon implemented to increase security. Refugees will be run through data system and given documents of identity that contain essential information. Failure to integrate refugees and migrants is what leads to terrorism in the future. Offers language training, job placement, advanced training etc for migrants. History shows that more sympathetic and pragmatic approaches to admitting and integrating refugees pays off in the long run. Us thought cultural differences would cause assimilation to be impossible. United nations convention relating to the status of refugees 1951. Unhcr (united nations high commissioner for refugees) also found in. Gave refugees right to seek asylum and countries were not allowed to return them to danger. 2 things learned from europe past (on how to handle syrian crisis) First, punishment of refugees for islamic terrorist actions would not be fair and would be counterproductive for the government.
