Document Summary

The cosmological argument for the existence of the judeo-christian god. Cosmology is the study of where everything comes from. Independent being do not depend on anything to survive: for any being that exists, that being is either dependent or independent, not all beings can be dependent, therefore, there must be at least 1 independent being. The principle of sufficient reason (psr) states that: for any being that exists there must be a reason for its existence, for a(cid:374)y fa(cid:272)t there (cid:373)ust (cid:271)e a reaso(cid:374) (cid:449)hy it"s true. There are 3 logically possibilities that are true: beings depend on something else, beings depend on nobody else, beings depend on nothing. You cannot sta(cid:374)d o(cid:374) (cid:374)othi(cid:374)g, so(cid:373)ethi(cid:374)g (cid:272)a(cid:374)"t depe(cid:374)d o(cid:374) nothing. There are three types of dependence: causal dependence. For example, a pool ball moves by another pool ball and hits it.
