Nature comes before human society nature exists first then humans enter take biological sex: nature has given us males and females and society has got an understanding of biological sex from nature. Nature has given us that and society has taken to understand what it has given us. Essence of social phenomenon can be placed in distinct categories. All the options and you can"t be in more than one. The categories would be same no matter time place or history. They would need to be corrected to fit into a box. Look inside individual to find out sexuality rather than interactions with others. Why we look at sexuality and race and etc. to tell us about people. Social phenomena are specific to time and place. Not universal no matter where or when you are.
